Volunteer Information

The Miracle League is more than just playing a game, but is also about making friends, building self-esteem, and being treated just like everyone else.  Youth Miracle Leagues use a "Buddy" system - pairing each player with a peer or friend to assist them throughout the game.  Each "Buddy" focuses on providing their teammate with an encouraging, safe environment in which their efforts produce success in each facet of the game.   The result is a bond that forever connects them as teammates.  The Miracle League is a wonderful way to give back to others.  For more information on how to become a "Buddy" or volunteer opportunities, contact Damon Knoche, Executive Director, at (513) 829-3091 or dknoche@gmvymca.org.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Funds raised through YMCA efforts will provide financial assistance to special needs youth who would otherwise be unable to participate.  Youth participants experience enhanced coordination and knowledge of the sport, but most importantly, youth aquire increased self-confidence and the joy of playing baseball.  If interested in sponsoring the Miracle League youth sports program at the the YMCA, please contact Kimberly Munafo, at (513) 887-0001 ext. 12.   Donors are recognized on site throughout the season.
