Vacation Bible School
In partnership with The Covering Church, the Fairfield YMCA will host a special Vacation Bible School (VBS) during Thanksgiving Week. This three-day experience will engage in a fun, faith-filled environment that combines spiritual growth, creative expression, and active play.

Dates: November 24th - November 26th, 2025
Times: 12:00pm - 2:30pm
Ages: 5 - 12 years old
Capacity: 40 participants

Program Highlights: Participants will rotate through a variety of engaging stations each day, including -
- Bible Study: Interactive lessons focused on gratitude, kindness, and community
- Music: Uplifting songs and movement to reinforce key messages
- Crafts: Creative projects that help children express and remember biblical principles
- Recreation Play: Active games designed to promote teamwork and fun
- Snack Time: A short break for fellowship and light refreshments
Community Partnership: This initiative is presented in collaboration with The Covering Church, which operates out of the Fairfield Family YMCA, and will also include volunteers from the YMCA membership, local community, and churches. Together, we aim to provide a safe, welcoming, and spiritually enriching experience for families during the Thanksgiving holiday break.
Program Goal: To offer a meaningful holiday-week opportunity for children to learn, grow, and connect through faith-based activities—while strengthening partnerships between the YMCA, The Covering Church, and our broader community.
